KUCHING: Icom Square, in partnership with the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA), conducted a successful fire safety training for its owners and tenants recently.

The initiative, part of the ongoing efforts to enhance safety and preparedness within the community, was held on-site at Icom Square.

The training was divided into two sessions, with the morning session led by Tan Min Chai, Head of BOMBA Padungan Station, and the afternoon session led by Muhd Nurfaiz Abdullah, Second Senior Officer at the same station.

The training provided both theoretical and practical fire safety knowledge to the participants.
During the hands-on portion, Nurfaiz demonstrated the proper use of fire extinguishers and other emergency response techniques.

Datuk Patrick Liew, chairman of Icom Joint Management Body One, and staff from Icom Square were also present at the training.
