SIBU: Seven families of Rh Rabah, Nanga Tutus whose houses were destroyed in a fire on Feb 18, received relief assistance from the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Bawang Assan Branch.
PDP Bawang Assan Women and Youth members, led by Youth leader, Councillor Joshua Ting Fu Ying visited the longhouse about 38 kilometres from here on Sunday to hand over the assistance.
“We provide some daily necessities to support them, hoping to help them through the difficult times and for them to rebuild their homes in order to return to normal life.
“These seven households are going through difficult times, but we believe that with everyone’s love and support, they will be able to recover.
“We hope that our contribution can be a motivation for them to overcome their difficulties, so that they can welcome a new dawn in the near future,” Ting stated.
