TANJUNG MANIS: A man was trapped at the driver’s seat when his four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle slammed into the back of a palm oil tanker at Jalan Empawah-Bukit Lan here yesterday morning.
Firemen from the Sungai Merah Fire and Rescue Station led by PBK II Joseph Balun rushed to the scene of the accident after receiving an emergency call at 9.12am.
Firemen handed the man, who suffered an external injury, over to a medical team from Sibu Hospital after freeing him from the driver’s seat.
