MIRI: Firemen from Lopeng rushed to Pujut corner on late Wednesday evening to put out fire that engulfed a wooden stall.
Upon receiving a distress call on the incident at 6.56pm, 10 firemen were despatched to the scene.
Their swift action managed to avoid the fire from spreading to other stalls.
According to Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Zone 6 chief Supt Law Poh Kiong, the fire had engulfed 80 percent of the wooden structure upon their arrival.
No injuries were reported. The operation ended at 7.11pm.
