KUCHING: EGM (Asia) Sdn Bhd on Tuesday donated 1,000 litres of Virol-Oxy solution to the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) for its statewide disinfection operations.
State Bomba director Khirudin Drahman received the donation from managing director Eric Goh at the Bomba headquarters on Tuesday (July 14).
The handover ceremony was witnessed by Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian.
A German product, Virol-Oxy is a virucide against Covid-19 by Watch Water GmbH. EGM is the authorised distributor for the solution in Malaysia and Brunei.
Virol-Oxy is nontoxic, non-alcoholic and fully biodegradable. It is to be used for spraying, swabbing, and disinfecting.
