MIRI: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri is to hold its first Customers Day this year on Monday (March 20) at Curtin University Malaysia Sarawak.
Pustaka Negeri Sarawak Miri in a statement said, the event is scheduled to be start at 8 am and ends at 5pm
Members of the public are invited to join in the programme which will be filled with various fun and educational activities throughout the day at the university’s LT Foyer.
The activities planned include Family Programme: Reading Seeds Sharing Session, PANDei Programme: Community Digital Literacy, Library Book Renewal, Sarawakiana Book Sale and Information Literacy Sessions.
There will also be a Sarawakiana Exhibition on Jatti Miriek’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Visitors will also have the opportunities to help build and enhance the library collection by books and reading material suggestions which can be obtained through Pustaka.
A library membership registration counter will be set up as well and every new registered member will receive token of appreciation.
They will also be given user education which let them know of the services and facilities made available for them at Pustaka.
