SEMPADI: The Malaysian First Infantry Division held a shooting competition at the Sempadi shooting range from Monday until yesterday.
The programme was held with the aims of testing army officers and rank-and-file personnel in handling small weapons and testing their mental and physical state as well as improving their shooting skills.
Meanwhile, the Third Infantry Brigade emerged as the overall champions followed by first runner-up, the Ninth Infantry Brigade and second runner-up, the Troop Division.
1181459 KFN Rahmat Hidayat Shafrizal of the Third Infantry Brigade was crowned the champion in the Men’s Repal event with the score of 58 points.
The closing ceremony was officiated by First Division Infantry Commander, Major-General Datuk Stephen Mundaw.
Also present were Third Infantry Brigade Commander, Brigadier-General, Mohd Bustaman Mat Zin, Ninth Infantry Brigade Commander, Brigadier-General Dzulkafli Mustaffa and 31st Infantry Brigade Commander, Brigadier-General Dato’ Hj Fadzil Tajuddin.
