MUKAH: A fisherman was found hanged in his bedroom at his house in Kampung Litong here on Sunday.Mukah District Police chief, DSP Jimmy Panyau said the victim, known only as Mahli, 29, was found hanging from a nylon rope tied around his neck by his mother at around 6.48pm.
He said based on the information from the victim’s family, Mahli died shortly after they brought him down.
“The family was surprised by the victim’s action as they did not hear that he was facing problems all this while,” he said.
Jimmy said the victim’s body was taken to the Mukah Hospital and the case was classified as sudden death.
