SRI AMAN: As of this month, five of the 57 projects initiated by the Sri Aman Development Agency (SADA) have been completed.
SADA chairman Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim said the completed projects include the temporary campus for Sarawak Skills (Sri Aman Branch), flood mitigation in Kejamut (Packages B, C, and D), and the Orangutan Observatory Hut at the Batang Ai Eco-Tourism Complex.
“Meanwhile, two projects totalling over RM20.5 million have been approved by the SADA Steering Committee,” she said after chairing the SADA meeting recently.
The projects are the Proposed Kpg Menuang Ulu Community Farm Plot, valued at RM500,000, and the Proposed Lingga Sports Complex construction project, budgeted at RM20 million.
“There are three projects currently being implemented, while others are still in the planning stages,” she added.
Rohani thanked the elected representatives, residents, district offices, and implementing agencies for their cooperation in addressing the challenges faced during project execution.
“With this type of collaboration, we can resolve issues and secure approvals from all involved parties,” she said.
