MIRI: A total of 13 children from Kampung Senadin Jaya accompanied by their parents on Saturday rode on their bicycles decorated with the Sarawak and the Malaysia flags as part of the Malaysia Day celebration.
Hosted by the village’s development and security committee (JKKK), the group embarked their simple Merdeka parade at 8.45am by touring at the surrounding area of the village.
The event was flagged off by Cr Jeffery Phang who was representing Minister of Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin.
Also present was the village’s community leader Raamah Hamdani.
