MIRI: Several areas in the city centre here were today hit by flash floods after three hours of non-stop rain, since 2pm.
Among the areas affected were Jalan Miri-Pujut, Wireless Walk, Jalan Pos, Jalan Pelita Commercial centre and Jalan Bintang.
Netizens also posted in social media photos of those affected areas.
Most of the road users surged through these inundated areas.
Some small vehicles were seen resting by the roadside worried to go through.
Some of these roads were still passable by vehicles despite the facts that the flood level was believed to have reached at knee level.
