BETONG: Heavy rainfall overnight yesterday flooded roads connecting two longhouses here.
The roads were impassable to small vehicles.
Betong fire station operation officer PBK I Henry Jugah said firefighters rushed to the scene to monitor the situation after being informed by residents around 10am.
“We found the roads to Rh Tawie Ragai, Duri Bangat (34 doors) and Rh Dusi Chol, Bukong Asal (10 doors) with nearly 100 residents flooded.
“The flood is quite dangerous to those who drive small vehicles,” he said yesterday.
Henry advised residents not to use the affected roads.
