BAU: Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep has called on all levels of society, especially in the district, to show their patriotism by flying the symbol of national sovereignty, the Jalur Gemilang.

“Fly it with love and pride because this is the symbol of our nation, satu Keluarga Malaysia,” he said when officiating at Semarak Gemilang 2022 here yesterday (July 16).

The programme was one of the activities in the Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign, held in conjunction with the National Day and Malaysia Day 2022.

Organised by the Sarawak Information Department (Japen), the programme aims to rekindle the spirit of love for the country through the flying of the Jalur Gemilang.

The implementation of the programme also serves as platform for Japen to work with its strategic partners who have supported all its efforts, both at the district and state level.

Its director Jaafar Jantan said through the hosting of such a programme, all strategic partners of Japen, especially the Keluarga Malaysia community and community leaders can understand the messages that the government wants to convey to the community.
