KAKUS: Residents involved in the active case detection (ACD) here received food assistance from the N60 Kakus Service Centre on Wednesday (May 26).
Aid was given to families in Flat Pine Tatau Block E, Rh Dilang Ulu and Rh Bennet Jumat, Tatau as well as Rh Ngumbang, Nanga Sidang.
Eugene John Sikie, the centre representative, said that the food aid was given to ease the burden of the affected families.
He also reminded the residents to comply with the Covid-19 prevention standard operating procedures.
“During the two-week period, residents are not allowed to go into town to buy food or to their farms. Thus, we hope that this food aid will help to ease their burden.”
