SARIKEI: Residents of Rumah Serit, Tanah Putih Tengah here who are undergoing the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) recently received food aid from Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.
The EMCO enforced from Sept 8 to 21 involves a total of 32 doors or 152 residents in the longhouse.
“There was a development on positive rt-PCR or confirmed cases in Sarikei district involving the longhouse. Thus, the EMCO had to be implemented immediately,” it said in a statement on Sunday (Sept 12).
The Repok assemblyman was represented by Kapitan Ling Dien Yong during the delivery of food aid.
