MUKAH: Mukah Parliament Service Centre contributed 500 packets of bubur lambuk (mixed rice porridge) to various agencies in this district.
This was in conjunction with the fasting month of Ramadan today.
Some mosques as well as frontliners at the road block here also received the specially prepared rice porridge.
Representatives from the service centre distributed the food item to the recipients at their respective offices and locations.
All those receiving the donated items were obviously cheered up and said they really appreciated the donation initiative.
The contribution was courtesy of Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) and Mukah MP Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib.
Total compliance with the Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) was observed during the process of handing over the food items.
