MIRI: A couple has fallen victim to a snatch theft on Friday evening.
Prior to the 6pm incident, the couple – an Indonesian woman and her Bangladeshi husband – were riding the motorcycle when an unknown man on another motorcycle approached and snatched their bag.
The two lost jewellery, essential documents including their passports and working permits and cash worth RM9,000 in the incident.
A police report has been lodged by the victims.
Sources added that victims attempted to pursue the suspect, but to no avail.
