KUCHING: A team of former Sarawak state players will play a friendly against a team of selected veterans from Sambir Bistari Football Club at Kampung Sambir Football Field, Asajaya today at 3.30pm. This was disclosed by Sambir Bistari Football Club President Jalek Jaafar at a press conference recently.
Also at the press conference were coordinator of the friendly match Kamaluddin Taha and Sambir Bistari Football Club secretary Khaimi Dan. Sambir Bistari Football Club patron Abdullah Julaihi will be the guest-of-honour at the friendly.
Among the former Sarawak state players who will take to the field today are Apandi Jol, Affendi Julaihi, Mohd. Ali Sapiee, Burhaniza Abu Bakar, Abu Bakar Amran, Ramos Sari, Ramles Sari, Khairol Jamel, Rosli Akup, Louis Jakai, Nizam Mahmud, Safri Amit, Jackson Maxwell, Mahathir Mohamad, Hassan Jahid, Ismawi Jamali, Jafari Ali, Irwandy Jampaka, Asmadi.
