KUCHING: The ‘Forum Perdana Hal Ehwal Islam’ was held at Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak here to celebrate International Museum Day.
The forum featured three esteemed panel members – Sarawak Mufti Datu Kipli Yassin, renowned independent preacher Datuk Ustaz Kazim Elias, and special officer to the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Ustaz Mohamad Zarifi Mohamad Daud.
With the theme ‘Kita Serupa’, the forum was open to the public and also streamed online via the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia’s Facebook page.
During the event, Sarawak Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah presented a donation to the Sarawak State Mosque Welfare Trust Board.
Distinguished guests, including State Legislative Assembly Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar and Sarawak Islamic Council president Datuk Misnu Taha, were also in attendance.
