KUCHING: Batu Kitang State Assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang handed out RM18,000 in Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants at SRB Chung Hua Batu Kitang, yesterday.
The MRP recipients were SRB Chung Hua Batu Kitang (RM5,000), Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of SJK Batu Kitang (RM3,000), the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Batu Kitang (RM8,000) and Batu Kitang Mutual Benefit Society (RM2,000).
Lo said the grants were for Batu Kitang state constituency and hopefully, the grants could help the recipents to empower the constituency.
Also present to witness the MRP grants distribution was Cr Yeo Eng Kuang.
