BETONG: Four students who excelled in the 2016 SPM have received a laptop each.

They are Nasharina S­ardi (SMK Spaoh), Da­yang Atiqah Abang Sip­uddin (SMK Saint Aug­ustine Betong), Hasli­nda Annuar (SMK Bela­din) and Sharmaine Daphe Sylvester Bakar (­SMK Ulu Layar).

The laptops donated by Layar assemblyman Gerald Rentap Jabu were handed over to the recipients by a deputy chief minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at a pre Gawai Dayak dinner held at Dewan Sukan Tan Sri Datuk Amar Stephen Ningkan on Saturday.

Fifty-one students in Betong division also received incentives as recognition of their outstanding results in last year’s public examinations.
