BAU: A team of personnel from the Bau Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) arrested four unemployed men, aged between 23 and 47, for drug abuse in a wooden hut at Jalan Gua Angin here today.
Bau police chief DSP Poge Nyaon said the team raided the hut and found the four men inside.
“Inspections found two transparent plastic packets containing crystalline substance believed to be syabu.
“The drugs, weighing 1gm and worth RM200, was seized as evidence,” he said
All the men, who were tested positive for drugs, were taken to police station for further action.
Background checks found that three of them have past records under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
The case is being investigated under Section 12 (2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
