KUCHING: The Sri Aman Development Agency (SADA) is proposing four new infrastructure projects.

Its infrastructure development working committee co-chairman Datuk Snowdan Lawan said that the Sarawak Public Works Department (PWD) is expected to issue tenders for these projects by the end of the year.

The proposed projects include the construction of Jalan Basi, connecting Brayun-Sungai Basi to the main Kuching/Sibu route. This is followed by the Munggu Mawang Empelanjau road construction and the Jalan Batang Strap, Sapak, Isu to Ubah junction upgrade.

The final project on the list is the Guntong-Menalang road upgrade.

Recently, the committee convened for their third meeting of 2023 at Baitulmakmur II in Petra Jaya to review the current progress of these projects, with updates from the Public Works Department and the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Sarawak (JPS).
