BETONG: The Magistrate’s Court here ordered four drug users to undergo treatment and rehabilitation at the Kuching Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Centre.
The National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA) in a statement told that the order was meted out by Magistrate Maris Agan at the Betong Magistrate’s Court last Thursday (Oct 8).
Three of the subjects concerned are from Kabong while the other is from Roban, said the statement.
“After trial, all of them were taken to the centre by Sarawak NADA Enforcement Unit,” it read.
The agency expressed its gratitude to Kabong and Roban police in helping to arrest two of the users who were reportedly uncooperative.
