BINTANGOR: A family of four survived after their house at Batu 1, Jalan Pakan here was burned down this afternoon.
Firefighters from the Bintangor station rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 12.38pm.
“The single-storey house was completely destroyed. A vehicle parked nearby was also damaged,” the Fire and Rescue Operations Centre said.
Firemen managed to put out the blaze and prevented the fire from spreading to a nearby house.
The fire victims comprised two adults and two children. One of the adults suffered minor burns on her face in the incident.
