MIRI: Four four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles in a workshop at Kampung Damai Jalan Sungai Rait were destroyed on Friday night.
In the incident, the workshop’s owner double-story house which was located next to the premises was also partially damaged.
Firemen from Lopeng and Miri central station were mobilised to the scene upon receiving a distressed call at 7.40 pm.
Fire fighting operation was carried out using water from the fire engine and nearby fire hydrant. The fire was successfully controlled at 8.37 pm.
No causalities or injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
