KUCHING: Secretary General of Handball Association of Sarawak (SAHA), Dr Abang Ismail Abang Julhi said, they have already identified four locations for holding the Pre-SUKSAR Handball Championship 2017.
According to Dr Abang Ismail, the four locations include Miri Indoor Stadium, Sibu Indoor Stadium, Dewan Stephen Kalong Ningkan Betong and UNIMAS Futsal Stadium.
“We will use all four courts or locations in holding the tournament,” said Dr Abang Ismail.
Dr Abang Ismail stressed that the weel-long championship will be held simultaneously in all four locations starting from Aug 27 to Sept 2.
“Our association hopes a lot of teams, especially among youths under 19 years old will take part,” he added.
Meanwhile, the tournament is an early avenue to identify talented players to represent Sarawak in Sukma 2018 in Perak.
