SIBU: Four women and two men are being detained on suspicion of having involved in criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving total sum of RM825,942.37.

Sibu police chief, ACP Saiful Bahri Abdullah, said a representative of a company here had lodged a complaint that several workers were believed to have been selling the company’s products and pocketed the sale proceeds since October, 2015.

“Modus operandi of the suspects was to sell the company’s products and used the proceeds for personal interest,” he told the media yesterday.

He said the suspects, aged between 19 and 23, were remanded for four days until 5 April.
