KUCHING: Sarawakian entrepreneurs and startups will be able to enjoy a six-month free co-working pass from January to June which is provided by Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas) Digital Innovation Hub (DIH).
“This is following the announcement made by the chief minister on the Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang 5.0 (BKSS) aid package,” said Tegas chairman Datuk Len Talif Salleh
The Sarawak government through the DIH aims to help Sarawakian startups and social enterprises affected by the Covid-19 pandemic by offering them a free, six-month co-working pass.
“We will also give additional support to them on a regular basis by providing free webinars, online capacity building workshops and virtual accelerators and give them the opportunity to utilize our virtual office at the lowest rental rates,” said Len Talif, who is also the Assistant Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment.
The DIH is funded by Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) and managed by Tegas.
The digital hub offers access to affordable co-working spaces, entrepreneurship education and venture acceleration programmes and access to Sarawak’s digital ecosystem network.
