Free parenting workshop on Nov 9-10

SIBU: The Sarawak State Library (Pusaka) Sibu will host two Parenting Hood Talk sessions at its premises on Nov 9 and 10.
The first session, “Burnout in Parenting,” will be held on Nov 9 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the first-floor seminar room.
The second session, “Managing Children’s Behaviour Issues: Tantrums, Screen Addiction, Disrespectful, Laziness, Cheating and so on,” will take place on Nov 10 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the multipurpose room.
Both sessions will be led by Adlil Rajiah, a renowned family expert.
Adlil will delve into parental mental health and provide strategies for handling various child behaviour issues, such as tantrums, screen addiction, and disrespect.
“She is an author of parenting books and will share her insights on these common challenges faced by parents,” said the library in a statement today (Oct 29).
The public, especially parents, are encouraged to scan the QR code on the poster to register.
