German tourist Gerold Seibert, 47, and his 79-year-old mother Inge Seibert, paid RM200 for a round-trip boat ride to Pulau Lakir from Bako near Kuching for a day of excursion into the wild. Back at base, they were all smiles, satisfied with the services of the local tour network and happy with folk they met. “People were not only friendly but in their happy faces you could see that Sarawak is free from Covid-19. We feel very safe here,” said Gerold, a Munich-based lawyer.   Photos: Ghazali Bujang
