KUCHING: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Patinggi Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi arrived here today (Nov 2) for a two-day visit.
Touching down at the Kuching Air Force Base at 10.30am, he was greeted by Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Rubiah Wang and Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
He then proceeded directly to Rumah Enteri Lengkoi, Samu Ulu Paku, Betong, for the Leaders with the People event at 11 am.
On Sunday (Nov 3), Ahmad Zahid is set to attend a briefing on the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development’s projects in Sarawak at a hotel.
He is scheduled to depart for Skudai, Johor, by special flight at 12.30 pm on the same day.
