MUKAH: Gagau Un emerged as the champions among nine competing teams in the Saberkas Sports Carnival netball tournament held recently at Dewan Tujunokala Kampung Tellian Daya here.
The second place was secured by Purple Attack from Universiti Teknologi Mara Mukah, followed by Netvengers and Team Sagok in third and fourth respectively. All participating teams received cash prizes, medals and trophies
The champions were awarded RM1,000 while the runners-up received RM800, the third-place team received RM500, and the fourth-place team received RM200.
The tournament, organised by Saberkas Tellian Branch in collaboration with the Mukah Netball Club, spanned two days and aimed to nurture talented netball players in Mukah Division.
Additionally, it sought to instil values of cooperation and team spirit among team members, ultimately forming the best netball team to represent Mukah Division in the state-level championship.
