KUCHING: Geomatics Survey Consultants marked its 20th anniversary with a grand celebration at Pullman Hotel here on Saturday (Oct 21).
This milestone event, held for the first time, was aimed at honouring the dedication of the staff who have been integral to the company’s success since its inception in 2003.
During the ceremony, a total of 13 individuals were recognised for their outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment over the years.
The Excellent Award category saw five exceptional staff members being presented with gifts and certificates.
Meanwhile, the Long Service Award category acknowledged the loyalty and service of eight individuals, each receiving tokens of appreciation.
The occasion also featured the recognition of five outstanding individuals associated with SS Fighters Muay Thai Gym, a venture established in 2011 and owned by Sulaiman Salleh who is also the principal of Geomatics.
The event, attended by 130 people, including staff and their family members, featured engaging activities, like a karaoke competition and a lucky draw session.
Geomatics Survey Consultants, in addition to its internal recognitions, also hold the prestigious Bumiputera Consulting Engineers’ Award 2023 in the Best Supporting Services Consultants (Surveyor) category.
The award was presented by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Abang Openg at the Association of Sarawak Bumiputera Consulting Engineers’ dinner ceremony last June.
