KUCHING: Fans and music lovers are in for a treat as the Dancing Queen Concert – A Tribute to ABBA and Queen – is set to light up Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on June 23.

The concert will feature the award-winning ABBA tribute act from Europe, ABBORN, and Killer Queen, led by Alfred Ayal, hailed as the Freddie Mercury of Indonesia. Joining them will be Asia’s top guitarist Alif Putra, known as the Steve Vai of Singapore.

Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah lauded Front Row Entertainment Sdn Bhd for bringing the concert to Sarawak, stressing the positive impact such events have on the state’s tourism industry.

“The Swedish band ABBA from the ’70s is known worldwide for their music, bringing significant recognition and economic benefits to Sweden.

“The original band members are old now, their music lives on, which is the essence of the concert.
