KUCHING: A giant crocodile, said to be about 15 feet long, was found dead in the Sarawak River near the Satok Bridge here today.
According to the Sarawak Forestry Corporation’s (SFC) Facebook page, the corporation’s Swift Wildlife Action Team led by Dr Mohd Izwan Zulaini, recovered the carcass around 1.30pm.
The team who found the dead reptile near a floating pile of waste in the river brought the carcass back to the jetty to be taken to a centre for processing.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
