KUCHING: Sarawak Hun Nam Siang T’ng (SHNST), led by its committed leaders, has been promoting a caring society in the city through various charitable deeds such as helping the sick, the needy, the aged, orphans and handicapped.

It is currently distributing cash and food items to 337 underpriviledged families irrespective of their ethnic origins and creed.

Emperor Kingdom KTV & Lounge recently donated 250 bags of rice and 100 packs of biscuits to the home for the aged.

At the presentation ceremony, Hon. Chairman of SHNST, Soh Choo Chan presented a SHNST pendant to a representative of the Emperor Kingdom KTV & Lounge Cola.

Meow Meow, a representative of Harbour Music Cafe & KTV, also handed over bags of rice to SHNST Chairman, Tay Boon Sin while SHNST Vice Chairman, Kok Hin Kai presented a SHNST pendant to Harbour Music Cafe & KTV representatives, Yo Yo and Mr. Chung.

SHNST hopes the general public will emulate the generousity of Emperor Kingdom KTV & Lounge Cola and Harbour Music Cafe & KTV and support it in the same manner. By doing so, they will help the home for the aged to do more for the community, especially the needy and underpriviledged.
