KUCHING: A Form 4 student claimed that she was molested by two of her classmates while they were at their school along Jalan Tun Razak last Monday.
The 16-year-old girl from Jalan Wan Alwi reported that about 11.30am that day, the boys grabbed and cornered her unnoticed by the rest of the school population.
Though she tried her best to fend them off, she was quickly overwhelmed and they groped her all over, touched her breasts as well as her private parts.
When she later reported the alleged molestation to her headmaster, he made a wise decision by advising her to lodge a police report.
The details of that report have not been made known to the media. In any case, as she is considered a minor, her identity and other personal details would be kept confidential by the authorities as per the relevant laws.
In a separate case, an event management office on the third floor of a commercial lot at Saradise had been broken into.
The manager said when they arrived at work last Monday, they found that the office padlock had been pried open and various things such as RM1,000 in cash, two cameras, a speaker, a bag of make-up products, an air purifier, a clock, and ear rings had been stolen. The total loss incurred has not been calculated yet.
Elsewhere in the city, one of the two victims in a car accident has passed away while the other is still in critical condition.
