BETONG: A 15-year-old girl sought assistance from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel to remove a ring stuck on her right pinky finger on Tuesday night.
A spokesman for Betong fire station said the girl, Siti Norsatika Wira, from Kampung Spaoh, turned up at the fire station with her family and Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel after she realised she could not remove the ring from her ring finger that had somehow swollen up.
He said the firefighters took about 15 minutes to cut off the ring from the girl’s pinky finger using their tools.
