SIBU: A night of lust climaxed with one person bloodied and seriously injured, and another arrested.

In a threesome involving a man, his wife and his girlfriend that went awry, the wife stabbed her husband’s girlfriend while they were having sex on Sunday.

Sibu OCPD ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the wife, 46, who is a coffee shop attendant, was arrested shortly after the alleged offence.

The victim was sent to the hospital in critical condition due to massive loss of blood after being stabbed in the private parts by the suspect.

However, the 34-year-old victim, who is a cleaner at the council market here, has been reported to be in stable condition after receiving treatment.

ACP Stanley said prior to the incident at about 9pm on Sunday, the man, 28, who is an assistant lorry driver, invited his girlfriend (victim) to a rented room in Jalan Lajong to discuss the relationship ̶provided the suspect did not cause any trouble.

“The suspect promised. When the victim arrived at their place, the three of them were happily chatting. The man had alcoholic drinks while the two women only had soft drinks. They all then agreed to have a threesome.”

After the man had sex with the suspect (wife), she went to the toilet to ease herself.

“The man then had sex with the victim. Suddenly, the suspect came into the room with a knife and stabbed the victim in her private parts,” ACP Stanley said.

He said the man rushed out and told his brother, who is renting another room in the house, to chase after the suspect.

She was later caught and handed over to the police later.

ACP Stanley said the couple were married under local adat (tradition) and had been together for seven years.

The man’s girlfriend is married with four children. Her husband is working in a logging camp in the Solomon Islands.
