KUCHING: Hope Place donated food items worth RM3,000 to frontliners at the Malaysia Medical Welfare Fund Sentosa Hospital branch yesterday.

The local non-governmental organisation (NGO) presented the donation as a token of appreciation for efforts in battling the Covid-19 pandemic.

The donation included biscuits, mineral water, noodles, malt drinks, and cereals.

Founder Kelvin Wan said, “This is just a small gesture of goodwill from us to the frontliners who worked so hard to keep us safe during this pandemic.”

He added that the donation would encourage and lift the spirits of some 300 people at the hospital — frontliners, social workers and other staff.
