KUCHING: The Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) is inviting the public to a weekend under the stars with its ‘Glamping in the City’ event on Aug 17 and 18.
It will be held in conjunction with the Music Festival 2024 at the Kuching Amphitheater, kicking off at 4pm.
In a statement today (Aug 12), DBKU said early birds can check in from 9am on Aug 17 to secure their camping spot.
However, the commission emphasised the importance of adhering to event rules throughout the two-day affair.
“Grilling and baking are strictly prohibited,” said DBKU.
“Participants are also reminded to dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas.”
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, DBKU has imposed a strict no-alcohol and no-gambling policy.
“We cannot be held responsible for any theft or accidents,” the statement added.
Campers are advised to bring their own camping gear.
As a special treat, an orchestral performance will grace the event on Aug 18 at 8pm.
“Let’s create beautiful memories together,” it added.
