MUKAH: Good bargains are on offer at the two-day Malaysian Family Sale Programme (PJKM) which began here on Tuesday (Jan 25).

It is being held at the parking lot in front of Gafu Supermarket (Gafu) here from 10am to 2pm.

Mukah Parliament Service Centre special officer Rosli Sopok, who represented Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib, launched the event.

In a statement Hanifah encouraged the people to grab the opportunity and enjoy some savings as prices were lower.

“It enables the people to also enjoy goods offered up to 20 per cent cheaper than the market price,” she said.

She added that the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) would check from time to time to ensure supplies would always be stable and sufficient to cater the needs of the people.

The two-day programme was organised by KPDNHEP Mukah branch in collaboration with the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA), Malaysian Fisheries Development Board (LKIM) and strategic partner Gafu.
