BANDAR SRI BEGAWAN: Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Ja’afar and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, attended a banquet celebrating the 78th birthday of His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah of Brunei at Istana Nurul Iman here on Tuesday evening.
Also attending the banquet were Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani tuanku Bujang, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, and Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi.
This event concluded the official visit of Wan Junaidi and Fauziah to Brunei Darussalam.
The head of State yesterday left for a four-day visit to Kuala Lumpur for the Coronation Ceremony of the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Sultan Iskandar, starting July 17 to July 20.
