KUCHING: Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar received a courtesy visit from the Sarawak Club delegation at the Astana Negeri Sarawak today (Aug 22).
During the courtesy visit, its president, Wilson Tan, presented Wan Junaidi and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, with an honourary lifetime membership card of the Sarawak Club as a tribute to the Governor’s long-time patronage of the club.
“In addition to presenting the honourary membership card to the Head of State, we also gave him a brief update on the developments and plans undertaken by the Sarawak Club,” he said when speaking to the media.
The Sarawak Club advisor, Melvin Wee, the Sarawak Club honourary secretary, Karen Shepherd, and the Sarawak Club general manager, Robert Brodie, were also present at the courtesy visit.
