Governor receives visitors from Kuching Skills College

KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar received a courtesy visit by a delegation from Kuching Skills College at the Astana Negeri here on today (April 1).

The delegation was led by the college’s chief executive officer (CEO) Novert Sullang.

During the visit, Novert updated the Head of State on the latest developments in the college.

“We mainly focus on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), especially culinary arts.

“Additionally, we focus on drone technology and sought the views and opinions from the Governor regarding Sarawak’s direction,” he said when met by reporters after the courtesy visit.

During the meeting, Novert said Wan Junaidi advised the college to be more active in the future.

“Tun Pehin Sri Wan Junaidi advised us to collectively help the youth in Sarawak, especially those from rural areas,” he said.
