Governor tours Affin Bank headquarters

KUALA LUMPUR: His Excellency, the Head of State of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and Her Excellency Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi seized the opportunity to explore the Affin Bank Headquarters situated within the bustling international financial hub of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) building on a Tuesday.

The distinguished couple arrived at 10:30 AM to a warm reception by Affin Bank’s Chairman, Datuk Agil Natt, accompanied by his wife, Datin Sharifah Fatmah Alhabshi. They were also greeted by Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah, the President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Affin Bank Berhad, and his wife, Datin Wan Daneena Liza.

“During the visit, Tun Pehin Sri and Toh Puan were guided through various departments and sections within the Affin Bank offices,” as stated in a release today (Sep 4).

The visit commenced with a tour of the AFFIN KL Main Branch strategically positioned on Level 1.

Subsequently, Tun Pehin Sri and Toh Puan proceeded to explore the Affin Hwang Investment Bank branch located in the same section.
Simultaneously, they were introduced to the different amenities accessible to Affin Bank employees.

“Tun Pehin Sri and Toh Puan also graced the office of Affin Bank’s Chairman, Dato Agil Natt, on Level 41. There, they engaged in a leisurely discussion for 30 minutes. Tun Pehin Sri also took the opportunity to pen his thoughts in the guestbook during the visit,” the statement added.

Following the visit to the office on Level 41, Tun Pehin Sri and Toh Puan were cordially invited to partake in the Launch Ceremony of Affin Diventium Private Banking, held on Level 26.

At the ceremony, they were presented with tokens of appreciation. Tun Pehin Sri was gifted two books titled “Dialog: Thoughts on Tunku’s Timeless Thinking” and “The Towns of Malaya, an Illustrated Urban History of the Peninsula up to 1957.”

The visit culminated in a luncheon with the senior management of Affin Bank.
