KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) members swarmed the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here in anticipation of the result of the 15th General Election (GE15).
Its chairman Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg arrived here as early as 5pm, followed by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) permanent chairman Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, Batu Kawah assemblyman cum SUPP president Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian and Bukit Saban assemblyman Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
Besides that, Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki, Balai Ringin assemblyman Datuk Snowdan Lawan and Pantai Damai assemblyman Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi were also seen roaming around.
Also seen here were eager to see the results are Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan, Datuk Abdullah Saidol (Semop), Datuk Seri Stephen Rundi Utom (Kemena), Beting Maro assemblyman Razaili Gapor, Sebuyau assemblyman Datuk Julaihi Narawi, Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman and Samariang assemblywoman Datuk Sharifah Hasidah.
Other than that, former Batang Lupar MP Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim and former Tanjung Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamillah Anu were also present at BCCK to show their support to the party.
GPS Kapit incumbent MP Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi and Julau candidate cum PRS president Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum were also at BCCK awaiting for the official results of GE15.
