TEBEDU: People can expect a continuation of development with a GPS victory in the 15th general election (GE15). This includes guaranteeing development in Kampung Tubih Behem to continue as well.
Tebedu assemblyman Dr Simon Sinang Bada said the GPS government will continue development in the area, especially by focusing on building more farm roads.
“With good farm roads, there is no doubt that these will be able to increase the productivity of farmers.
“At the same time, it will also be able to increase household income with a target of RM10,000 a month by 2030,” he said as quoted by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) in a news report recently.
Dr Simon made the speech when declaring open the new Kampung Tubih Behem Hall here recently.
On another note, he also stressed the importance of the documentation of Native Customary Rights (NCR) land through the Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) initiative.
“Various issues will be resolved once the land has been surveyed and documented. It can also determine a person’s rights over the land and increase its value compared to land that does not have any land title,” he pointed out.
In another development, Dr Simon also announced the approval of allocations for the construction of the road to the cemetery as well as the construction of the SDA Kampung Tubih Behem church porch.
He also approved the minor rural projects (MRP) fund of RM5,000 to Persatuan Kaum Ibu or Mothers Associaton.
On the hall, it was built under the allocation of the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) in 2019 at a cost of RM300,000 and it was further upgraded in 2022 with the construction of a toilet and verandah at a cost RM120,000.
