MUKAH: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Zone 10 will be launched on June 22 with Rumah Kalang longhouse at Ulu Badengan, Jalan Bayan Ulu chosen as site of launch.
Located 30 minutes away from the town of Mukah, works are already ongoing by the organising committee in preparation for the local party’s monumental event.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to officiate at the launch this coming Saturday.
Involved in the meeting for the preparation of the programme were Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah who is also Dalat assemblywoman, Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo and Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi.
A representative of Mukah Member of Parliament was present along with poltical secretaries to the Chief Minister, Abu Seman Jahwie, Kenil Jera’ie, Faridah Osman and other party members.
It is understood that a lot of activities will be held during the launch including modern agriculture fair and Ngiling Bidai ceremony.
